K11 DUB was ordered new from VW UK Milton Keynes in 1992 by my uncle. To give you a clue to how swift these cars are out of the box, my uncle sold his Porsche Turbo to buy it, and after selling in to my mum, found the Lancia Delta Integrale he replaced it with was actually slower in most conditions and much harder to drive!!.

I became the third owner of the car in 1998 after a (fortunately) brief spell in the ownership of my mum - who found it was too fast, and used to much petrol. Needless to say in it's current guise it's even faster thanks to some serous Jabbasport tweakery and uses even more petrol.



To anyone contemplating buying a supercharged Polo G40, I'd seriously recommend it. Admittedly from the factory the brakes are a bit suspect and the suspension is not quite taught enough, but I doubt anyone reading this would ever be content with factory suspension or brakes! Once these alterations have been made, and the supercharger has been rebuilt (essential investment this one!), you need only look to how many 'Coupe Cup' races G40's have won to realise that it can be a serious piece of kit.
